German artist Julian Rosefeldt and two-time Academy Award winning Australian actress Cate Blanchett have taken Australia by storm this June with a subversive and provocative new exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW, “Manifesto”.
Showtime Marketing is proud to announce our collaboration with the Art Gallery of New South Wales in a powerful new street poster campaign across the city of Sydney, featuring excerpts from the eponymous manifesto and headshots of Cate’s multiple personas. Our campaign also features two massive wall takeovers in the heart of Sydney.
At centre stage, Manifesto presents a collage of influential declarations, monologues and manifestos by artists, architects, filmmakers and idealists around the world, edited together by Rosefeldt to build a tapestry of inspired and controversial “new manifestos”.
Cate Blanchett performs these “new manifestos” by becoming a diverse range of thirteen different personas, blurring the lines of class and profession, and even the conventional understanding of gender.
Manifesto is currently exhibiting at the Art Gallery NSW, and will continue with free admission until November 13th.
