It was the first year that Showtime Marketing had attended Mumbrella 360, and it certainly won’t be the last.
With a vast range of influential people from the Marketing, Media and Advertising industry we were privileged to be part of the event. Presenting a Masterclass about Guerrilla Marketing to a room full of serious industry players was always going to be an exciting experience. With most of the other sessions throughout the conference focussing on online platforms and related paradigms, creativity (or lack there of) and data, our session was always going to fall outside of the box; aligning nicely with our key point – “To think and act outside of the box”.
We attended some amazing sessions before ours, the calibre of speakers and their backgrounds is a huge part of what makes this conference an unmissable event in Sydney’s advertising and marketing industry. We found ourselves grateful and thrilled to contribute our expertise on the day.
At 13:00, with our session having hit capacity it was time to shine. The class flowed smoothly, from our audience participation through to question time. After a mandatory cold one to celebrate the completion of a task that had been months in the development, we were then privileged to be able to spend the conference meeting great people, cool brands, and learning a lot. For example… Did you know that the average age of a gamer is 26? Or that “We are twenty-two times more likely to absorb a strong story than a hard statement of fact”?
